Why I’ll Never Own A Wii

Another chuckle-worthy advertising campaign from the Apple marketeers which doesn’t really focus on anything bad about Microsoft or good about Apple. Jolly and in the spirit of Christmas.
Get a Mac Ads (Christmas 2008)

“I Can Do Anything” & “Tree Trimmings”
This is a viral from Microsoft, advertising their latest bluetrack computer mouse. A little more of a closeup on the little fella would really have made it YouTube gold. Still, even the idea of a mouse skydiving is worth a little chuckle.
Skydiving Mouse
A must see: Daredevil mouse jumps out of a plane!
New viral from Microsoft: adrenalin junkie mouse caught on camera skydiving from 10,000ft. He loves it!
Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld plunging into their roles for the second time as out-of touch individuals. There are a couple of good lines in this one.
“Why Bill? Because as we discussed, you and I are a little out of it. You’re living in some kinda moon house hovering over Seattle like the mothership. I’ve got so many cars I get stuck in my own traffic. We need to connect with real people.”
Another bonus is you don’t see Gates wiggle his bum in this ad, instead you see him do a far less creepy robot.
New Family - Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates Ad (Long Version)
In the second commercial in the series, Jerry Seinfeld convinces Bill Gates to try and connect with everyday people the old fashioned way.
This is the imaginative invention of Jake Loniak. This Tron like creation looks like every child’s (and adult’s) dream, however Jake says he just doesn’t have the time to create a working model but assures the entire thing is based on real world values and can be made.
The Wearable Motorcycle
An electric exoskeleton motorcycle invented by a college student. Video created by inventor, Jake Loniak.
So, better late than never, this video has been around for almost 6 months now, but its a nicely put together MacBook Air parody. Watch and enjoy.

In this video ‘Peter’ spins practically anything he can get his hands on, including a Nintendo Wii, MacBook Air and creates a sort of mini fire tornado. It’s worth a watch!
